Spartacus: the gladiator who united several gladiators for freedom versus the Romans!
Spartacus (109-71 BC) led a group of gladiators against the might of Rome. When Crixus disagrees with Spartacus' plan, he and hundreds of gladiators flee, get drunk, and killes by Romans. Spartacus and his gladiators were cornered by the Romans, led by Crassus. But, Pompey and his Romans assisted in stopping the gladiators' attempt at freedom. Spartacus' body was never recovered, but his loyal gladiators were crucified by Crassus and his Romans.
